Two Two’s

My eldest son Barry and his family including his father-in-law and brother-in-law + family came down to Cornwall yesterday to spend the week.
Today they had planned to go and see the maze at Glendurgan only to find the gardens closed. Mrs S and I were on our way ti meet them when Barry rang so we suggested Trelissick.
We met in the car park and set off around the gardens for a walk eventually finishing in the orchard.
I enjoyed sitting on the bench and chatting to Neil, it was good to see him again and it wasn’t long before we were joined by our granddaughters Chloe , who wasn’t feeling too good, and Freya. That’s when todays main photograph was taken, we set off back for coffee and cake only to find everything closed at 4:30, that’s when the extra was taken.

Half term in Cornwall, one National Trust garden closed all day the other closed whilst the day is still young.

We have planned to meet again tomorrow and I look forward to that immensely.
