Alliums!

A most enjoyable evening last night at Blair's Cove - posh without being pretentious, attentive without being smarmy and the food was excellent. A set menu so no just starters and desserts but I paced myself and it was delicious. We even had cocktails to begin with!

Today I went with a gang of friends to a beautiful garden right down by the edge of the sea. We last visited in January when not much was out but today it was all looking magnificent - partly manicured but some wonderful wild bits too. I came home and mowed paths through our rampant patch.

I hope the Jubilee is in full swing across the water - well done Her Madge.
