The walls

As we left York this morning we stopped at the lights by the Walmgate Bar.  This was were we had seen the lion Ro was thinking of buying for the girls, and there he was standing on the grass!  See extra! 
Before that I was waiting in the car for Ro to take the key back to the safe box and saw the potential of the second extra! ;-) sorry I m just too tired to make a decision! 

We didn’t stop and visit anywhere en route but just went straight back.  A very good run, unlike the traffic in the other direction.  We made stops in Tesco and Lidl, to fill up with food. Then found the girls busy trying to feed the locals with sandwiches and cake.  ( a bit dried up in the sun)  They were surrounded by bunting!  They came back to spend the afternoon with us!  They are back for lunch and onward for the night tomorrow.
