Farne Islands

SATURDAY

A lovely warm, sunny day. 

After brunch we headed off to Seahouses for a boat trip around the Farne Islands including an hour on the Inner Farne Island (National Trust).

We encountered  the dive-bombing arctic terns, black headed gulls, cormorants, eider ducks, fulmars, guillemots, herring gulls, kittiwakes, oyster catchers, pied wagtails, puffins, razor bills, seals and shags.

On the way back to the harbour we were entertained by dolphins.
