A Man Admired

Todays photo, the statue of Isambard Kingdom Brunel on Paddington Station, a brilliant engineer and ahead of his time.
The day started well enough, breakfast as a family, always enjoyed, a stroll through town, ice cream for Paddy a beer for Mrs S, Josh and I. The weather may not have been as good as yesterday but there were plenty of youngsters and not a few adults enjoying the street party.

As the day wore on I became more aware of the volume of messages I was receiving, with the invitations to meetings, requests for information, an invitation to submit a report and the opportunity to write a specification it seems that not everybody is relaxing over the Jubilee weekend.
I’m pretty certain most of it can wait.
