Ultra Violets

A glorious spring day today. I needed to do some walking training for the Igloo 3 Peaks challenge this July, though wasn't sure whether to do this today, or to leave till the Sunday. In the morning I had got into the garden, and for the first time this year, got digging the borders, and planting some seeds for later in the year. Anyhow, I had recently spoken on the phone to a friend who i'd not seen for months, and then we had a catch-up this afternoon. I then decided to leave any further activities till tomorrow. Here we see wild Violets, which are springing up everywhere. These have appeared (as they do year on year) in the lawn, I shall therefore not be mowing the lawn till they're gone. Everything is waking up; birds, butterflies, bees, an exciting time!
