Lunch with a view

The BBC weather app predicted thunder storms today but apart from a few clouds, nothing materialised. I had booked lunch at the Panorama restaurant overlooking Dubrovnik at the top of the cable car. When I checked the reservation it was for tomorrow but fortunately a phone call managed to change the booking. We got the cable car to the top and visited a museum located in the fort, dedicated to the history of the ‘homeland war’. Conflict I remember from the early 90’s. Dubrovnik survived intact although sadly many fatalities. Lunch was delicious and the view amazing. The storm didn’t arrive so we spent the rest of the afternoon on the beach and are still here at 7.15 as I type this. Another perfect day.
