More beach

OH was playing in yet another golf competition so after a slow start No.1 and I headed off to the beach again.  We were in two minds whether to bother and the journey was eventful (following a cycling peleton on around 100 bikes for 20 miles - no way of overtaking!!).  However when we arrived we had a short walk and were pleased we made the effort as it was lovely and warm (thankfully we took the fishing umbrella which deflected the wind) and we laid in the sun for a few hours.  We took a picnic and books and had a good afternoon. Homeward journey was much quicker (no bikes) and we showered and had easy dinner.  OH was out with golf friends for a curry supper - M is currently on crutches so they decided to take him out as he is driving S round the bend!!  They decided that a meal out would be a regular event with the designated driver having their meal paid for them.  Think the golf widows need to get on the same page!!
