here comes the sun

the winter has certainly been long and cold, if not lonely. R is so well trained by the weather she demands hat, coat and gloves before leaving the house! So it was relaxing to be able to wander the gardens at the national trust house, Tyntesfield, near Bristol, and watch her roll in the grass. Note the essential stick, which must be carried everywhere...
There's a now drained boating lake there, which has been partly turned in to a play area with wooden boats for pretend play. The greenhouses were full of tulips and auriculas, waiting for an increase in the night temperatures, I guess.
