Superstars

Another sunny day in the city and perfect for watching the marathon. We headed down to our normal spot between Monument and Blackfriars as there is always a band. The crowds were full of energy and cheering away calling out the names of the runners to spur them on. The atmosphere is like nothing else and it makes me feel very proud to live in London. We didn't spot any of our friends running past but I always love seeing the amazing costumes that people wear. I cant imagine even running the distance let alone carrying a huge tiger on my back or dressing as the Honey Monster. Every person that crosses the line and battles through the pain is a true inspiration.
