Today's the day ...................... for a portrait

We returned home today from a brief trip down to Kendal to see family, go to a play, hear some jazz - and visit these two in their new house.

As ever, they made us welcome and looked after us very well.  They showed me a picture of them both that I had taken a number of years ago, on John's 60th birthday.  It was in a frame on display in the room which made me feel very chuffed - specially when they asked me if I would take another picture today in the same sort of pose.

So, here it is - and as you can see - they're looking even more beautiful as the years progress .......................!
