Barn Owl

My sister came over for the day.
We wandered along to Phil’s smokehouse to get some fish for tea and the later on walked out on the bank. Very hot all day and still beautiful in the late afternoon/early evening light as we walked out.
We saw a couple of spoonbills, a hare, the marsh harrier and then the barn owl emerged from the woods and hunted nearby briefly before heading out across the marsh towards the island.
