The Le Mans Ferris Wheel

In all the years I have been coming to the Le Mans 24 Hours, I have never been on the Ferris Wheel. The fairground used to be a big feature at Le Mans but now it is confined to just the Ferris Wheel, a kind of bungee jump and an Avengers walk-through house fronted by the Incredible Hulk. These are all tucked away on the periphery of the circuit whereas, in its heyday, the fairground used to be both more extensive and more centrally located. The other photos show the marshalls saluting the winning Toyota and a view of one of the cars looking worse for wear after  24 hours racing in the height of summer.
