I was going to…

…do all sorts today but I don’t know what happened and now it is evening!
We’ve been watching two collared doves under the eaves of the opposite house. We don’t know what they are doing but they keep perching next to each other on a cable. Then I saw them bringing twigs. It doesn’t look as though there is room there for nest building and anyway, isn’t it a bit late?
I don’t really know about dove and pigeon breeding habits.

Tomorrow morning we are getting the train to Morecambe! An early birthday treat for me. Wednesday was is going to be rainy so we decided to go a day early. I used to go there on the train with my siblings and our Nana when we were children. Such happy memories.

I Was Going To…

I was going to weed the garden
but I had coffee on the bench instead
I was going to sew cushion covers
but I lay on the sofa and read
I was going to bake a loaf but
for a day we can do without bread
I was going to watch a film tonight
but I was tired and went to bed

There’s always tomorrow.

Going to try and watch a film to the end! I’ll likely fall asleep zzzZZZ:-|
