2022 Tuesday — Ruby Tuesday

Lots of red (and white and blue) today, and a strawberry super moon tonight. Even though we have not reached the official calendar start of summer, the temperature was quite warm and thankfully cooled as the day turned into night; this was a very enjoyable evening.

I did the majority of my walking today in the local Hobby Lobby and actually found a few items we have mentioned purchasing. I texted photos to Mr.Fun. He responded, “Buy it!” He would give me that response to just about anything, except more real estate!

I also did some walking in the local Kohl’s store. I was looking for a pair of pretty flip flops for me. All I have are Rainbow brand; they are not pretty but are practical. They rarely break and when I am walking on the beach, or even worse is to and from the beach, I don’t want a flip flop to bust. But every now and then when we are “dressing up” (which is almost never) wearing some pretty flip flops is my desire. I was also looking for some pants for Mr. Fun. The past 2 years of health issues have not helped him in the area of weight. He was born wearing husky boy Levi’s and he’s had a propensity toward being over-weight all his life. Nagging him doesn’t improve the situation, so I just buy fat pants and smile.

As America’s Flag Day comes to an end, my thought is “God, please bless America and save this nation because, if for no other reason, the thousands of people flooding in thru our southern border sure need a nation when they get here, and my grandkids need a nation.” These are desperate disturbing times nationally.
