Bacon Butties & Boats

Reduced numbers for the Thursday Gang today, just the four but there was not too much on. Some preparation for the campers this weekend and just being there for the cellar deliveries and other bits and pieces. It helps that the weather is scorching hot, perhaps not so much when I was soldering a couple of electrical connections but definitely at lunch time.
In recent weeks instead of our usual pasty we have opted for bacon butties, everyone’s favourite, a lighter bite in the hot weather and a saving for the club, around £10 for eight people.

In the evening it was rowing with Epic, two gigs on the water with a couple of extra rowers to boot. Perfect conditions, flat calm, no wind, beautiful sunshine.
