ok - it is a back blip but is's a barred owl......

from Maine- but I had totally forgotten to blip it and it was amazingly right there off a paved path. apparently there was a tree across the path with the babies in it and mom sits there and keeps an eye on it in the day time. I have a man who walks the trail a lot to thank for the information .
he said she has nested around there for the last few years and he knows where to look for her
