that is an appropriate reaction

In the Before Times, a million years ago, the police beat Rodney King and it was captured on video. Now we've gotten used to it. At the time it was so shocking to see it on video that it led to riots. I went in to work filled with youthful idealistic rage. My boss poopoo-ed it. The next day he wrote me an apology and said my reaction had been the appropriate one.

Today one of my employees called me and cried and then was embarrassed by, "the waterworks." I told her no, this was the appropriate reaction.

I knew that after they got this they would go after trans kids because they've already begun. I expected them to go after gays. I am surprised by the contraception.

Russian pilots are trying to avoid surface-to-air missiles and so they are flying really, really low. This increases the risk of crashing into the ground. In the past week Russia has lost two attack planes in low-level flight crashes. Russia has lost 81 aircraft as confirmed by independent analysts. It doesn't help that Russia seems to have trouble training and retaining skilled pilots.

Another Russian military enlistment office caught fire in Belgorod. Fire broke out at 3 am. Hmmm.  Belgorod is about 25 miles north of the border with Ukraine.

Nike is permanently shutting down business in Russia. It temporarily suspended business in Russia before, now it is permanent. Puma, Reebok, and Adidas also suspended their businesses in Russia.

Our favorite squadron, the IT ones with ATV and drones, used their brains to solve a problem. They've been using commercial, cheap, available drones from DJI. If you look at aerial footage of, say, Iceland, chances are it was taken with a DJI drone. They are very popular. China was uncomfortable with their drones being used against Russia. They have a computer program, AeroScope, that lets one see where the drone operator is. Ukraine accused DJI of giving Russia an enhanced version of the program, which the company denies. The squad hacked their drones to make them invisible to AeroScope. Now AeroScope can see what Russian drones are doing and can't see what the Ukrainian drones are doing.

Speaking of drones, a thousand-strong British volunteer network is manufacturing recon drones, developing artillery-targeting applications, and supplying the Ukrainian army. When paired with the Starlink internet satellite system it is almost impervious to electronic jamming.
