Reunion - 51 Years!

Backblipping.

Just got home from a fabulous Golden Matriculation college reunion. It should have been held last year but wasn't, for obvious reasons. The 1970 one was postponed too, so this year it was decided to combine the 3 years (1970, 1971 and 1972) into one event. That proved to be a great idea, which might be repeated in the future. It was good to see so many old friends, many for the first time in over 50 years. Some had changed a lot, some not so much really. And some were sadly missing.

The college is looking super now, the gardens are much more developed and mature of course, with so many new structural additions since we were there (current plan in first extra). The dining hall roof is still the most imposing feature though (second extra).

We met for tea/coffee on the Grove Lawn in the afternoon (main blip) followed by a group photograph, and finished off by dinner in the dining hall in the evening. I had rather a lot to drink and didn't get to bed until the early hours.
I really don't understand why I didn't have a hangover in the morning.
