Yes We Can

Dear O'H dear & Lovely Tea Jenny,

We headed off to Glasgow at 9am for a day of building flat packed furniture.

Terry (EMP’s boyfriend) came through to help and he was like a machine. He’d been away for a week and (I didn’t know until later) hadn’t got home until 2 am. Ah, young love! It’s very sweet.

The Prince came through to see the flat and to take away all the packaging which filled the whole car. The street recycling bins were all full but there were some guys having a break in one of the recycling lorries and they offered to take it. The Prince explained it was from his daughter’s flat and one of the guys asked “Did she buy the whole of IKEA or just half of it?

There is something VERY satisfying about building furniture. It’s like Lego for grown ups!
