Golden Evening

I took this on my way home this evening after the first of three parents evenings. It was lovely to follow the sunset home but quite late for me!! Sometimes chasing the sunset reminds me that the hours in my day are really precious. If I don't make the most of them, they will be gone!

Got another busy two days and evenings coming up. Need to make the most of the days too!

I love parents evenings - it's such a great chance to have quality time talking about children as well as gathering all kinds of information and views from parents.

M&D still have no phone which worries me - they can't get a link to the hospital should they need it! No idea what the problem is...sometimes I feel very far away and really rather useless. Luckily their neighbour is being neighbourly and offering them a phone when they need it. It means dad has no email and I have no way of contacting them - a bit scary! My sister will visit tomorrow hopefully.

It's my niece's birthday today. Last year I bought her a cake pop maker...somehow at 15 she seems to have outgrown such gifts. A cheque it is for clothes or make up!
