A couple of hours gardening first thing, then answered a few emails. I had arranged a trip to Sissinghurst with M who is not driving following her operation. She has a follow up appointment on Thursday as she has a large swelling maybe haematoma or another hernia - poor love. She has not had the best of luck with health for the last five years. Hope the scan goes ok. However, The sun was shining and the garden looked wonderful - and it wasn’t raining (unlike last time) and we had a good day. Sad to hear of the breakdown of her friendship with W - she was upset and confused and struggling to understand what happened. We compared notes?! Traffic home was awful with roads closed so I didn’t get home till 6.00 by which time I had a banging headache.
