Buscot Fish

I can't believe that we haven't been to a National Trust property since the end of April. We put that right today with a visit to Buscot Park. The house is open again now so we were able to do a full visit and get a much needed Pre-Raphaelite fix.The tea room was open too, so we had some cake.

There aren't any roaming animals at Buscot but I did get an image of a fish which I have doctored for Abstract Thursday. The first extra shows a normal shot of the water feature where the fish live. The second extra is a pyramid orchid. I was able to identify this by the label on the one next to it.

In other news our bathroom fitter arrived this morning and finally fixed the malfunctioning flush in the downstairs cloakroom. Hopefully we will never have to see him again now.
