Crazy!

What a week! Here, there and everywhere, including covering Drama lessons while the staff take the students through their final rehearsals for the end-of-year musical production next week. There was a box of these t-shirts in one of the classrooms and although I'm nothing to do with the show, I still want one!

The new teacher's getting on fine but my old students keep coming up to me with ridiculous complaints about how strict she is ('She keeps telling us off just for TALKING!', etc), asking me to tell her to let them sit with their friends, and accusations of 'You said she was NICE, but she's NOT!' (she is). It was quite amusing the first dozen or so times I reacquainted them with the school's behaviour policy - especially as they always start by trying to flatter me with the ol' 'You're our favourite teacher' routine - but it's just getting annoying now! 

I did get a lovely card from the Year 11 tutor group I was looking after, who are now finished at my school as we don't have a sixth form. It said ‘We’ll miss all your funny stories!’ I’ll miss them, too.
