Corn Ripening.

Frustrating day. I decided to get the second coat of oil on the garden room, got 3/4 the way through the front, looked back on what I'd done, the whole lot was covered in thunder flies! Where diid they come from? The whole front looks like it's got blackheads! So had to abandon that task. Grrr! I spent the rest of the day tidying the garden.

J still coughing like crazy - Kept me awake most of the night. Now we have an added worry. My Son in Law, who's birthday it was yesterday, has today tested positive for Covid,  he was fine yesterday. J doesn't need covid on top of what he's got.

Took Ali for a bonus walk , we crossed the corn field and I liked how the sun caught the dying leaves. as the corn ripens. Thought it would do for my daily blip. I will try harder next week!

Added an extra. Emmeline leading the parade for their local 'Gatley Festival'. Not like her to be up the front.
