Welney

Trip to Welney Wildlife and Wetlands Trust today.  Not many people around. OH and I sat in a hide for over an hour.  Whooper swans, godwits, lapwings and a variety of ducks passed by along with swifts swooping and wheeling before us.  It was so serene with the sound of the wind, rushes, water and bird calling travelling across the water.  Perfect.
We had a light lunch before leaving.

Neither OH or I wanted to return home so headed to Ely to have a brief look at the Babylon Gallery by the river.

This is the first time in ages that I've  been outside Cambridge.  Murray's condition kept me closer to home to ensure his safety and wellbeing.  Poor boy. 

Good news about Sunak and Javid!  Who else will locate their moral compass?
