Quiet, Peaceful, Relaxing

It seems to have been a hectic week but today was the calm after the storm. Mrs S left for her shift I had breakfast in the garden and then read yesterdays paper, it seemed really quiet.
Eventually having read the paper cover to cover, I showered and took Paddy for his walk.
I guess the academic year at the uni’s is coming to an end, the usual boxes of goodies junk are appearing on the pavement, expresso machine, percolators, kettles, irons, clothes, everything. Paddy and I picked up a nine foot ‘squash’ surfboard in perfect condition, if I didn’t take it it would only have deteriorated.
