Shattered but working

Something hit my passenger wing mirror the other day. The key bit, the glass, was broken but it can be used. Just.

I have been able to replace it quickly and it is once again operational - and no longer breaking the law. It would fail scrutiny (such as an MOT).

The analogy with Wednesday’s events in Westminster is unavoidable. It took me just a few days to get a replacement and sort it out. It looks as if about the same time frame will apply to our Prime Minister.
