Sunshine bright

These sit by my front door.  More of the flowers that were labelled as salmon pink, but I forgive them as they are quite cheery.
Went to visit friends I haven't seen since before lockdown  I met the wife when we were in the same maternity home nearly 60 years ago!  She is in her late eighties and her husband is in his nineties.  They are both looking a lot more frail since I last saw them, partly because they have both just recovered from a bout of bronchitis.  They still live in the house her father built for them as a wedding present.
