Sunburst

While the sun shone this morning it was increasingly through a hazy then cloudy sky. The mercury reached 24oC while the rest of the country seemed to be baking. Our friends left this morning and reported 31oC in York.

So this flower in the herbaceous border provided a lovely splash of yellow.
