Oh what a beautiful …..

…..morning, lunchtime, afternoon, evening.

It has been one of those very very rare Edinburgh days where you feel as if you are abroad. Clear blue skies, temperatures in the mid to high 20s in the shade: much higher in the heat of the sun. Light zephyr winds giving a hint of freshness to the air.

Our first joint service at church with two other congregations started the day off well. Then a light lunch followed by sitting in the garden and later on looking into the room to watch the tennis. An evening BBQ eating outside with the temperature in the shade at 24oC at 19:30.

As the sun sets just the sound of people outside chatting, playing and dogs barking.
