Monday: Halifax Pier

We walked up to the Hydrostone District, a lovely neighbourhood with cute houses and local shops.  It’s been very hot here so we do spend a lot of time seeking out the shady side of the street.

We then took a small ferry over to Dartmouth, just a short 10 minute ride over from Halifax.  Dartmouth is cute, not huge, but blessed with the Brightwood Brewery which we tried out.

Late lunch at ‘Salty’s’ where I had my long awaited lobster roll.  I think K. was relieved as I’ve been banging on about having lobster roll for the longest time.

And this evening, a bit of a walk and a stop off in the ‘2 Crows’ brewery which, as luck would have it, is right next to our accommodation.

We’re walking 20,000+ steps so earning our beers.
