2022 Tuesday — Gorgeous Day

We watched whales in the bay all morning spouting and fluking. They were very entertaining.

After our morning got away from us without having an official breakfast, I created a homemade lunch of turkey sandwiches with spinach and Swiss cheese; arugula, spinach, strawberry, with crumbled feta cheese salad; a handful of potato chips, and chocolate cupcakes with white frosting. We were stuffed!

This afternoon we went to the Cayucos Library because books we ordered were in and then we went across the street to walk the pups in Hardie Park, and then we drove to the Estero Bluffs to look across the large expanse of the bay and saw more whale activity.

Later, right before dinner, I did some trimming on the ice plant in the backyard — it’s sort of out of control, but won't be for much longer.

This has been a gorgeous day; no fog. Our warmest day this week will be Thursday (75°) and we will be going to Stolo Winery for a concert in the meadow, and I’m thrilled that it will be a warm afternoon.
