Poignant

I typeset the order of service for the service of thanksgiving for our friend who recently died, very suddenly, and our church office have printed 150 paper copies to be handed out at the service on Monday. 

Today I printed off some extra special copies which have a card cover with real photos stuck on the front and back, instead of printed photos. These special versions are for our friend’s widow, to have as keepsakes for herself and her close family. I also made these little carrier bags to put the special cards in for her. 

The desperately sad thing is that today she and her husband should have been celebrating their golden wedding anniversary together. My heart aches for her.
