The Return of Moz

Our son #1 and eldest granddaughter came for a quick overnight visit to Granny and Grandpa today, before L goes off to Canada with her mother to visit her Canadian family for the summer. L brought with her her constant friend and companion, Moz, who is pictured here relaxing on the sofa. Moz may be chilling out, but we (and our son) have been living in a state of anxiety and uncertainty for several years, not knowing whether L would eventually be taken away to live in Canada permanently with her mother.

On Wednesday of this week we were told that it has been agreed that when L and Moz come back at the end of the summer, L will move up to secondary school here in September and England will continue to be her home. The future starts here and we are just over the moon.
