On the Lake
Unplanned outings are often the most lovely of all!
I went down to the lake early to enjoy the coolness, the quiet and the proximity to the water. I met Jean who had just crossed over from France (a 35-minute ferry ride) and then I said: How about if we took a cruise today? So we did! There was still enough place to have lunch on the boat and we bought our tickets at once.
The cruise lasted over three hours and it was absolutely wonderful!
The main photo was taken outside to get the lovely churned up water and a view on the mountains. The windows on the left belong to the beautiful historic room where we had our meal.

Extras:
- The steam boat called 'La Suisse' coming into port to pick us up
- The Château de Chillon which is built partially on the lake
- A swan preening itself early morning with reflections from a small boat
I hope that you've all had a beautiful Sunday.
