Night time visitor
This is the latest visitor to our garden. I noticed some footprints in the snow back in February and were sure they were Badger paw prints but How ! How could it get into the garden when there’s not much room for a badger to squeeze through. So out went the Scoutcam and I was delighted to capture a badger. There’s a small gap beneath the fence left for the hedgehogs and it managed to get through there. We now get regular visits after dusk.
An overcast day and warm but not too hot. We did a few jobs indoors including putting up some pictures in the Cinema room.
In the evening we went down to Udale bay, the tide was out so not that many birds around but we did see some geese, redshank, lapwing, rock pipits and a stonechat that kept disappearing into the undergrowth near to where we parked.
We were just driving away and I spied a hare in the field which had probably been there the whole time.It shot off across the field at high speed.
