me ! Me ! ME !

After a day of phone calls to various opticians... (I won't bore you with the details) ....I FINALLY received a call from Optical Express, apologising for their poor customer service and they have agreed to replace the frames free of charge.

The asked that I remain a customer in the future. 'Of course!' I said - until I get my free specs then I'm jumping ship to the other optician who jumped through hoops to help me - even though I wasn't even a customer.

Perseverance pays !

Nice walk round the reservoirs this morning. Busy afternoon with Dancing for No 3, and then a Magic show at the school.

No 1 is no officially an employee of MacDonalds ! I have reconsidered my opinion of MacD. She can pick and choose her shifts/days online to fit round her dancing/hobbies....she doesn't start working until after her exams....if you wish you can study for GCSE English and Maths with them...She gets promoted in 6 months and a 50% pay rise....AND she gets a discount and a natty uniform.

My ex-employer should take a leaf out of their book as far as staff recognition and rewards! Ok - she will come home smelling of chip fat...but we get McFlurries !!!

Big girls dancing again tonight. I've just spent a few hours updating the government website with all my job searches...and being frustrated by Tesco Bank's terrible application process !
