Home again

For several reasons, including that Robin needs to return to Baku earlier than she originally intended, we changed our plans today and instead of another overnight stop in Pamukkale, we drove "straight" home, with just a couple of pitstops and were back by 4pm. The increase in temperature once we were south of Izmir was very noticeable and tonight, at Aquarium restaurant in Akbuk, it was still 33ºC by the sea at 9pm.  It has really heated up in the almost two weeks we've been away, not just in temperature but in the number of tourists filling the restaurants and strolling the sea front tonight. Holiday season has, like us, arrived.
