Mystery Flower….

A mystery flower indeed. I photographed them this morning. Then had a total mental block…. Pondered all day on the plant’s name. Still couldn’t pull it out of the filing cabinet of my mind. So I up-loaded it to a very useful Facebook group. “Plant Identification New Zealand”. Within seconds I got the first comment. “Daphne” of course. I’ve since had over a dozen replies….. Daphne…. How could I forget it…
Keith is out of isolation following his dose of Covid-19. I have a head cold and, drat it, my lower back problem has arisen. That’s all I need. So I have to stay clear of the hospital for now. Duncan returns from Marahau and Nelson tomorrow. He will be able to visit Keith.
