The coneflowers are starting to share center stage with the daylilies.

Another hot day, but not quite as humid and it did cool off this evening.

One of the motels that I was considering staying at this weekend wants people to book for 2 nights. I wonder how much business they lose from people who are travelling and only want to spend one night there. I hate the thought of having to pay over $200 for a one night stay in a hotel room, which is what another place is charging.
