Gin

Looking on the web last night I found an 8 k circular walk that started in a village but went past the campsite so we did it from the third instruction. It was fabulous, good views of the water for a short while and then along lanes, through villages and across fields. Even saw red kite, lots of them, at least I think they were. Had lunch at the garden centre, which was a very short detour from the route. Took the wrong path at one point and had to scramble through a hedge and brambles to get to the path.
Really lovely. Sat and read for a couple of hours in the afternoon, outside as it was warm but not sunny. It is now raining.10 pages left on my current book, second time of reading. I love Strike novels and wanted to re-read as the next one is out soon.
Bought a small bottle of locally distilled gin, strawberry and lavender, don’t usually buy flavoured but this one sounded interesting.
