Beach Body Ready (For A Snooze), Minnis Bay

Another train strike day today so couldn't get into work and had to take the day as holiday. Therefore we decided to go on a micro trip to Minnis Bay, somewhere we have never been before. It was a bit difficult to find but once we got there we discovered a big plus - free parking!
It was a beautiful, if quite breezy day and as soon as we got there we decided to have a cold pint looking over the bay. We both instantly felt relaxed and enjoyed soaking up the sun. The only downside was a bit of a pong from the seaweed on the shoreline but after a few minutes of adjusting our olfactory nerves we got used to it. It was then time to have a longish walk along the promenade from one end to the other. I took all of today's images (please see extras as well) at this point in proceedings. I hope they convey a feel of the place - we loved it!
Hunger pangs then kicked in so we stopped and had a hot dog each with all the trimmings for lunch. We really appreciated our time at Minnis Bay and will certainly go back again.
