When I was out today I stopped to take some photos of some shore birds. I noticed the bees on the goldenrod, thought I would try focussing on one of them, this is the result.
Today was mostly a catch up on laundry day and do a bit of housecleaning plus send off my weekly invoices. I did go out for a drive, a friend of mine was having a daylily clump sale for some of his seedlings. I had some empty plant pots to give to him too, I only bought one seedling and it is the only daylily that I have bought for myself this year. Usually I have 6 - 15 new ones needing to be planted.
Puttered around my own garden this afternoon too. Cut back a forsythia, pulled some weeds. When I go to Walmart this week I need to get some plastic ribbon that I can use to mark the plants that I want to take with me when I move.
