We are not venturing far at the moment. We are trying to get a number of jobs out of the way before going on holiday. Added to which the traffic in Pickering is dreadful. The A64 main coastal route has been closed after a water leak undermined the road. Scarborough and Filey traffic is being diverted through Pickering which also carries the traffic for Whitby. The upshot is the main roundabout is frequently gridlocked. Will be glad to escape the chaos at the weekend.

So this is a peep behind the Main Street in Pickering.
