Tuesday: Awatto

Barney Cat started his journey to the UK today.  I picked up a car share this morning and we drove him to the airport where we handed him over to airport cargo.  He’s already flown to Toronto and tomorrow he was supposed to fly to the UK.  

No sooner had we got home when we received a message to say that he was unable to fly tomorrow due to temperature restrictions (it has to be below 28 degrees).  So we’re not quite sure when he’ll arrive…..the agents have sent us a photo (see attached)….poor boy looks like he’s in prison…he’s currently in a holding pen in Toronto.

In the meantime, we’ll be seeing the back of Ottawa tomorrow (see what I did with the photo there?).  It’s absolutely fine - we already felt like we’d said goodbye to Canada when we left Vancouver.  So we’re ready.
