Glacier crossing

Our first crossing - set off in the dark after 4am breakfast, hit the glacier just as it turned light and walked up, over a col on the left of the peak in view - in foreground is our guide having just cooled the rope as we left the ice. A stunning day but it’s shocking how the ice has receded.
