of the evil little "you must do this, but not this, not that but do that" photos for little Katie today. Its actually a rather adorable photo. The print quality is vile. Utterly vile. Dark (I'm concerned it's going to come back as too dark actually). But cute. I'd have done our own but dont have the proper cropping clippers and want it all as fuss free of processes possible. So threw TWELVE POUNDS at the idiots in Max Spielmann's for the privilege of hers and of them making me look like a greasy, old, haggered chav - for the second time, as the first lot I accidentally threw away. (Can I just get on my soap box and publicly state how much it riles me that they're the option on the high street now for a photographic shop? Save for a poxy little boots option who's quality is utterly hideous?! And we have no photographic equipment shop at all? It makes me CROSS! Anyway, moving on!!) She's very proud of it. I paid them a pound to put a couple of hers in a keyring. She's really chuffed.

Usual fab Saturday insanity. She chose our gorgeous new Erna wrap for the carrier of the day and asked for tummy cuddles with it. Which served us well as the temperature dropped quite quickly just on our walk to the pool. She was in a bit of a nuts mood at swimming and didnt really try very hard, messed around quite a bit. I'm going to take her myself this week as well, try get the sillies out the system so she can knuckle down in her class. She had a fabulous time at ballet and was thoroughly cooperative for almost the whole class. They're up to two pieces ready for the June show, both of which are very adorable. The trio of trouble (her, Isla and Isabelle) led the way for a couple of things. She was doing really well, until the curtsy. She'd let her teacher do three corrections during the course of the class - she often isnt keen on it- but got very upset when she took Katie's feet and made them into a curtsy. They made friends before we left though!

Katie fell asleep in the wrap on the way to the station. We were a little late out of class and it was going to be a mad dash to the train so I decided we'd get the next one. I wandered in the city centre getting a couple of bits for the party we were headed for this afternoon before the train. She slept until we got off the train. A very leisurely ccino and lunch in the coffee shop and it was time to don her party frock and head to her little friend from nursery's party. A giant bouncy castle was the focal point, with a pass the parcel in the middle. There is a really lovely group of them who get on so well. Very sweet to see them all so excited when they're together!

Brooke's mummy dropped us home after the party. We spent a couple of hours just chilling out in Katie's bedroom. We snuggled down on her bed about 730, watching a bit of Top Gear on the iPad together. She fell asleep with her head on my shoulder and her arm linked into mine.
