A strange day with no Mitch, but evidence of him all around the flat. It'll take a bit of readjusting!
Good to see Juliette for coffee, neither of us feeling very great....but there's something special about being able to just be grotty together with no pretence. Also a privilege to buy Giorgia her first pair of Havaianas!
Alice took Nate out this afternoon - they'd been planning for a little while doing something together. It was meant to be a beach afternoon but Nate's had a temperature today and Alice wasn't firing on all cylinders either, so they settled for ice cream and coming back for a play here before the team came over for dinner and Bible. The Police also showed up with papers for Mitch - somehow the message hadn't got all the way round that he's already inside!!

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The kids joy at having their rooms back and making their spaces feel like theirs again. Our flat feels humungous now!
2) Alice being so kind to Nate, and Nate being so appreciative. She leaves next week - Nate will be gutted!
3) Sleeping in my own bed.
