Sunday: Deep Bed 1

Woke up at 6:30 to bright sunshine and stayed sunny all day.
MrD pruned a branch on the sycamore early morning, it was getting dangerously close to Tweetie Pie

Whilst the green bin was near the greenhouse, I cut back the Passion flower which always takes over but is very handy for getting bees and pollinators into the greenhouse.
The deep bed behind the greenhouse has become a wildlife haven, caterpillars have been munching the cabbage, broccoli and kale leaves, but everything will recover when the weather gets cooler and wetter.
Blue chicory flowers and nigella are good late summer nectar plants too.
